Website responsiveness

Responsiveness (or responsive design) is the approach to building websites so that the content automatically adapts to mobile phones, tablets, and screens of all sizes.

The goal is to ensure good readability, functionality, and a smooth user experience on any device.

Why is responsiveness important?

1. Better user experience (UX)

Users can easily access content without needing to zoom in or scroll awkwardly. You probably know how frustrating it is to read older websites on a mobile device.

2. Responsiveness and SEO

Google prefers responsive websites and ranks them better in mobile search. Recent updates even suggest that Google may stop indexing non-responsive websites altogether. So if you have an older site that still performs well in search, make sure to modernize it so it continues to be visible.

3. Větší šance na prodej

Your customers visit your website from different devices (mobile phones, tablets, laptops) and responsive design ensures your site works smoothly on all of them. There’s nothing worse than a “Buy” button overlapping with another element on mobile, causing users to abandon the purchase.

Most likely, the majority of your traffic comes from mobile devices — so make sure your website is optimized for them.
